Terbium - Element 65
Terbium is Element 65 on the Periodic Table, symbol Tb. It is a silver-white, rare earth metal. It is soft, malleable, ductile, and not found as a free element. Terbium was discovered in 1843 and is named after the village of Ytterby in Sweden. (So are Yttrium, Erbium, and Ytterbium - hey Sweden, couldn't you be a little more creative with naming?”)
Terbium is used in many practical devices, including naval sonar, sensors and actuators, fluorescent lights, televisions, and cathode-ray tubes. We aren’t sure why ALVA required so much Terbium, but Embrie made certain the Analytical Engines got their 4 kilograms of elemental Terbium.
